Land F/X will be going to the 2010 Australian Irrigation Conference & Exhibition from June 8th-10th. Find out more about this great expo here.

We will be located at Booth #286. Come and stop by to say hello to Jeremiah and Katie, and see Land F/X in action.
Our expo price is unbeatable! You can save $1,000 on the price of Land F/X + Irrigation if you come to the event.

We have also added an assortment of new hatch patterns. To get all of the new patterns, just submit a tech ticket to our support team and they will process your request. To learn how to submit a tech ticket, just look at our article titled "Unbeateable Tech Support Service" below.

If anyone is interested in having LFX staff come to their city for group training, please let Katie know a major city in your area, and an approximate time in which a training session would best work for you. Past training sessions have been conducted in San Luis Obispo, CA; Las Vegas, NV; Orlando, FL; San Antonio, TX; and Salt Lake City, UT.

Success Story

Every month, Land F/X highlights a success story from one of our valued clients. This month we are featuring Morton & Pitalo, Inc., a leader in providing high-quality civil engineering, land planning, land surveying and landscape architectural services. They are celebrating 32 years of excellence, and we would like to thank their Senior Landscape Architect, Michael P. Scheele, LEED AP, ASLA, for submitting this success story.

Mike mentioned that M&P has "had many good success stories using Land F/X," but "one that stands out" to him regards a recent completion of "a large single family paseo-style subdivision project, containing numerous small, irregularly shaped planters bounded by paving. The project had to comply with AB 1881 - the recently enacted California Water Efficient Landscape Ordinance - so it made sense to do the planters in drip irrigation."

"After xref-ing in the planting plan, choosing select equipment from LFX Irrigation Manager, and blocking over polylines already drawn for the groundcover hatch, the set area for drip emitters function of LFX made this the largest, fastest drip irrigation plan I have ever prepared in my life! Thank you Land FX!!"

More information about AB 1881 can be found here.

Unbeatable Tech Support Service

We at Land F/X pride ourselves in our efficient, helpful, and considerate technical support staff. A client of ours, Bryan Spangle, with Hudson and Pacific Alliance, raved about the LFX benefits: "You are the only support service that I feel I am getting my money for. You guys are excellent."

We have devised a way for our users to get the fastest response possible to an issue or question, and that is to submit a technical support ticket.

To submit a ticket, select F/X-Admin from the drop down menu, and select "Technical Support."
This will open a ticket window where you can type your issue and click Send.

This is the best course of action to get an issue submitted to Land F/X Support. It will guarantee all support staff gets the message at the same time, which will result in faster response times.

Submitting a ticket is also what one should do for irrigation requests/changes.

Step by step instructions on how to submit a ticket using Bricscad and AutoCAD can be found here.

Many of our users also have new feature requests. We are constantly taking the time to network with other landscape and irrigation designers to make this the best program out there. John Conte, a long time client of ours, was thrilled when he saw one of his request implemented into LFX, and stated, "Thank you for taking my suggestion and making it a reality. I cannot tell you how gratifying it is to feel like my voice is heard in your organization." Let your own voice be heard, and create your feature request by logging into our community forum.
