I am looking for a way other than using Ref Notes schedule to create a hatched shrub area that is a combination of 5 plants, equal size and spacing, for a Bio-Swale Mix. Anyone have experience doing this that would be willing to help out?

Craig,

You can do this by creating it as a Concept Shrub Area. This Power Tip video shows how:

I was considering the same question,

Jeremiah is there a way to do this so that you could have a group of plants, including trees, various size shrubs, and smaller plants, so that when you add the block to the model it shows each of these plants as opposed to just one symbol as in the video?
Thomas,

This is definitely something we would like to do. The way I think will make the most sense, is if you already have an arrangement of such plants, and you can use a tool that would work rather like Photoshop's Stamp tool, but something we have been tentatively calling the Plant Sprayer. We shall see!
