I do not see a means of adding Text Styles to the list of existing LandFX standard Test Styles. I know how to create text styles in AutoCAD, but those styles remain associated with a DWG or template and do not have the benefit of automatically updating based on different Preference Sets. We have been transitioning to a new font standard for our documents and the use of LandFXs standard text styles in association with Preference sets has been making the transition much easier. We also have clients that have their own drawing text standards and, again, the ease of just changing Preference sets to update the fonts in a drawing or detail versus having multiple versions of the detail is killer. There are some text cases that we find fall outside the range of standard styles LandFX provides, such as titleblock and title sheet fields (project name, location, etc., which tend to be larger, and in our case, set wider, than the largest Title options in the LandFX defaults.

Is there a way to add additional Company default Text Styles that retain the benefit of auto changing via Preference Set change?

Thank you,
Daniel,

From the Text Manager in the F/X Site ribbon, you can create New text styles, that will be saved with the preference set.
We opted to have the font list in preferences only include the standard Land F/X system text styles. Definitely a good thought, that it would be nice to be able to access the other user-created ones from preferences. But for now, you just need to go to the site ribbon button.
