Hello all,
I have recently come across the need to create alternate plant species for several projects, but the clients do not want to see the alternates as a separate landscape plan. Ideally, the alternates would be below the first choice, and perhaps a bit off to the side somehow... something like this:
QV Quercus virginiana 22'HT 18'SPR STD, FC, SP
Alternate Species:
BB Bucida buceras 22'HT 16'SPR STD, FC, SP
CE Conocarpus erecuts 16' HT 8'SPR STD, FC, SP
Not considering how hard it is to program any of this, ideally, you'd be able to 'set' alternates in the plant manager per plant. For instance, you'd edit QV and there'd be a button that says 'Assign Alternate(s)' where you'd choose another plant on your list. The schedule would then automatically display those alternates underneath the original plant, of course without quantity.
If this is impossible, does anyone have a workaround or best practice to accomplish this? Apologies if the answer is somewhere else already -- I tried searching through the forums and videos but came up empty.
Thank you!
