How are you doing? You've sure come a long way in a few years. I remember when you were a newbie and wondering about workflow. Now you're really understanding the software and have a much better understanding of AutoCAD too. I have one question. Are you splitting up your drawings to keep things simple and efficient? For instance, your planting elements are not mixed in with the irrigation or construction elements. Right. Sometimes we even separate our drawings further. For instance, we will pull our water quality treatment areas, temporary or mitigation irrigation and planting sheets out into separate model drawings. For the irrigation, we use pipe caps to keep the two drawings hydraulically synchronized. This method makes it easier and more efficient for many things. Including your current effort. Good luck.

Honestly, Those days were really challenging for me, but thanks god, and thanks to you, and to all other experts and members in this exceptional platform who were always there to advice and offer all the information that helped to shape my work in a professional way.. always grateful to all of you..

In regard with splitting the drawings, am not sure if I get you exactly right, 

but in general, yes I work my irrigation plan on a seperate file that include everything related to the irrigation design only, and other needed plans like floor plans and planting plan are xrefed into the irrigation plan..

When in a project has the irrigation water tank, and the pump room in a different floor, I tend to design another irrigation plan specifically for the irrigation water tank and the pump room components..

and usually find a proper way to connect the two drawings using the point of connection.

I would like to know your way of using the pipe caps to keep the different drawings hydraulically synchronized. it looks interesting..

It sounds like your workflow is a good one that keeps you efficient.

I use the pipe caps just as they're supposed to be used. I misspoke. They do not synchronize automatically. If the pressure or flow that is required for one of the exreffs changes, we have to manually change the supply cap (or custom POC which I find works better some times), then we have to manually change the supply cap in the parent drawing manually. I see the advantages of autosynching especially in podium designs (multi-level projects). 

I'm guessing that later LandFX will automatically synchronize these, but I wouldn't ask for it now myself because I'd personally like their efforts more focused on improving the runtime tables to incorporate weather and plant factors.
