Drawing not detecting LFX plants in xref'd planting plan

I have an irrigation drawing with a Land FX generated planting plan xref'd in (plan is from my client).  I've assigned this plan to my LandFX project.  In the past, xref'd Land FX objects would be read by the edit/info button, but now I get nothing.  I need to do an area for drip emitters.  I searched the knowledge base, but didn't find anything.  I have no idea what changed--help!

Are you by chance in AutoCAD 2018?

It's a known bug with the installer for that version that it blocks xdata through an xref. You need to install the latest updates/hotfixes through your Autodesk Desktop App.

Aha!  Yes I am.  Updating now.  I had 2019 going for most of the year until it decided that I needed to verify myself or something.  So I reverted to 2018, until you guys tell me 2020 is good to go.  Thanks!
