morning all,

I have an issue with Drip line areas hatch in some places that looks like solid hatch.
I did delete the equip then purged the drawing then added it again but still having the problem.

Can You help please?

Nibal
Hey Nibal, thanks for reaching out to us. That is most likely caused by our hatch patterns. We released a new hatch library in 2023 and then released a wave of improvements in June of this year (2024). The dense hatch is a good indicator you're using the 2023 release.
Please thoroughly read this documentation and apply the hatch library update. Make special note of steps 1C or 2C. They explain how to apply the updated hatch pattern to existing drawings and project data.

If my assessment is incorrect, this issue would have been addressed faster and more accurately if you had sent your files in a ticket or sent a screenshot of the assigned hatch pattern.

That's a great question. In the Hatch Update KB context, a "backup" is just a safe copy of the items you're deleting if you delete important items you want back. So you could make a "Land F/X Hatch and Patterns Backup" folder in your Documents folder, on a hard drive, on your desktop, etc. If you don't have a User category in the F/X Site Hatch dialog and you have not placed any non-Land F/X .pat files into the Patterns folder, you don't need to worry about making backups. You can follow the KB as it says and delete the user and patterns files. But this is a good opportunity to communicate that oftentimes, a backup is just that; it's a safe location to place copies of important files, should you ever need to retrieve them again.
