How do I make the irrigation heads legible at 30 scale?

the left side shows 20 scale 5' heads.  the right shows 30 scale 5' heads.  The 30 scale are too big to fit in a 5' bed.  Not sure how to fix this.

30 scale is not an appropriate scale for an irrigation plan that needs to include 5' heads.

5' at 30 scale is 0.1667", meaning each symbol would need to be comfortably under 0.08" wide, which doesn't leave for much other than a dot.

Your best solution would be to use 20 scale.
