I needed to create a planting area for a perennial mix we use. After research, the only way to do so was to create a "Concept Design Group Shrub Area" which let me add the plants I wanted with the spacing and percent fill that coordinated with the mix. Everything worked great and showed up in the planting schedule just fine but I'm now trying to add irrigation to this area and it's not registering any plants in there...... I didn't see a way to turn the concept shrub area into a permanent one and the regular shrub areas didn't give me an option to create a mix with certain percentages of fill like I need. Am I missing something? Can you irrigate a concept design group shrub area or is there a workaround?
Kayla,

We currently do not have a method of assigning emitters to Concept plants, as the palette of plants is optional, and the size and spacing of the plants can vary. In your case, there is indeed a palette of plants, all with the same spacing and size, but we have opted to not have the emitter assignment work only in this case.

The best solution is going to be to make a copy of the planting plan, so that you can edit the Concept area and use the Transform button to change into any one of the palette plants:
