We have submitted the irrigation system design but there are some changes in the architecture and landscape . Now we need to update existing design. Do you have some power tips or webinars on this issue? I guess we could start with deleting and adding ,but I guess we could miss something and end up with problems... Thank you , Nemanja

Nemanja,

Yes, we do have a few tools that will save you a bunch of time on these revisions. Your best bet for deleting parts or all of a station is with our Delete Station Tool. Following the steps within this article you will find a few different options to use, based on what you want to do.

If you want to keep a portion of the station, simply manually delete one section of pipe (separating things into now two “stations”), then run delete station on the given area.

To re-number your callouts, it is as easy as calling out a previously called out valve with a new starting number. The system will reorder things for you. We have a Power Tip that covers this here.

Hi Jake,

I have one more question. Turf area are reduced and I need to delete rotary heads and to downsize the whole station. Is it somehow possible to delete these heads and not to delete entire station, because around 30% of heads and pipes will remain? I am afraid to delete with simple deleting , but sometimes it seems it is inevitable. Off course I need to pipe them all together at the end and to verify laterals, size them and finally verify and size mainline...

Just to make it more illustrative I am sending snapshot .

Naturalist,

We have several tools that will help in adjusting and revising your irrigation design. Among these would be the Replace, Move piped equipment and Match Properties tools. I have responded to you via the Tech Support ticket you submitted. Once we determine the best course of action for you, I will make sure to post the resolution we came to.

Regards,
