We're seeking an Irrigation Designer with 1-3 years experience to join our landscape architecture firm, Design Concepts. Our projects are primarily parks and schools for public agencies. We would prefer the candidate is local to the Denver area to attend client meetings and site visits.

REQUIRED SKILLS INCLUDE:
- Possess a strong understanding of irrigation design principles, irrigation technical specifications, and installation methods
- Certification Irrigation Designer (CID) by the Irrigation Association is a plus
- Able to implement irrigation design principles supporting efficiency and water conservation
- Familiarity with current irrigation products from major manufacturers including irrigation controllers (2-wire and conventional), heads and nozzles, small pump stations, pipe material, and drip irrigation, as well as knowledge of Colorado plant water requirements.
- Willingness to stay current, learn and grow in irrigation product knowledge and grow within the industry
- Willingness to learn and follow jurisdictional agency's standards and be capable of preparing submittals and facilitating their review process on behalf of the Client.
- Meet with Clients to facilitate project work and gather Client's material preferences
- Prepare schematic design, design development, and construction documents for irrigation scope
- Willingness to perform site visits during design and construction
- Work directly with contractors during construction to resolve issues, inspect installations and provide detailed written reports.
