I have a question that may be partially related to the question I asked last week about Northing Easting Point Schedules. See link: Title

I'm doing something fairly unconventional with the northing/easting points in that I'm using them with architectural units. This may be part of my problem. Without going in to great detail about why I'm doing that, I will say that the project is very small (3000 SF), but with reasonably complex geometry that would render the plan illegible with the number of dimensions required. Most of the small-time contractors around here have some difficulty with decimal units for site measurements, so that's why I'm using architectural.

Anyway, what I am finding is that when I try to insert a Northing/Easting Callout from the Site Callouts (block = LAFX-NORTHEAST), the linework appears, but no text. If I double-click the block, the "enhanced attribute editor" opens and I can select text options and see that no text style is applied to the block. If then I select "Callout Light" for each attribute, the text appears as it should. But each time I insert a new instance at a new location I have to do this exercise. I've tried deleting all instances of the block from my drawing, purging, and starting over -- no luck. Where have I gone wrong and what might I try to rectify this?

It sounds like there might be something else going on that would be better served as a tech support ticket. Please give us a call or send in your drawing that is having the issues by submitting a support ticket and we can see what might be going on.

Thanks. Today I am working from my home computer. I just opened the drawing to prepare to send it in with a tech support ticket and decided to try the northing easting callout. It works as it should. I am now assuming that there might be a problem with the LAFX-NORTHEAST callout block that is in the block library on my office computer.

That is great to hear! Nice troubleshooting!! So, you should be able to just delete that file from the root location, delete and purge the block from the drawing and place it again. The new block should download automatically. If you do run into any issues just give us a call and we can help get you straightened out.
