Hey all,

I seem to have stumbled across a possible bug. When sizing lateral pipes on a valve, the Friction Loss values come in correctly when I set the Pressure Variation to 15% or higher but display negative Friction Loss when I set it to 14% or lower. On another valve the threshold is at 8% Pressure Variation.
This drawing was created and completed back in 2015 but came back for minor revisions. Also, instead of using drip area hatches we used the dripline option where we can create custom spacing, emitter flow, and operational PSI (We selected standard dripline options). We used the dripline option instead of the dripline area hatch due to comments.
I have not been able to duplicate the bug on another drawing but I thought that it would be worth mentioning. Please let me know if you'd like me to submit a ticket of my drawing file.
BTW, This appears to be a similar bug as one that I posted about a few months ago. My Land FX is up to date and I'm using AutoCAD 2015.

Kindly,

Luis
Luis,
It seems that this is possibly the same bug that you found a few months ago but somehow isolated to that one drawing. We have fixed that bug and I am unable to replicate in any of my test/existing drawings, however, I am unsure of the exact workflow and equipment you are using to get this result.

You may want to send in your files in a tech support ticket so we can double check and make sure this isn't something new. I will keep an eye out for those drawings and let you know what we find.

Jake,

Yeah, that's what I thought. I haven't been able to replicate it so I'm pretty sure it's isolated to this drawing for some reason. Maybe it's 'stuck' in this drawing because we have not worked on it for about a year. Anyway, I'll submit the drawing as a ticket to you just in case it's something new. Thanks for the quick reply!
