Plant Portfolio
Quick video
Our Plant Portfolio tool compiles the names of the plants you've added to a single Land F/X project into a printable PDF document. It's an easy way to provide the client or contractor with a list of the plants to be used on the site.
Plant Portfolio Overview
Open our Plant Portfolio tool:

F/X Planting ribbon, Plant Portfolio flyout
type FX_PLANTPORTFOLIO in the Command line

F/X Planting menu, Plant Portfolio option
To create a plant portfolio for your project, type FX_PLANTPORTFOLIO in the Command line and press Enter.
The Plant Portfolio dialog box will open.

1. Choose whether you want one or two plants listed per page in the portfolio.
2. Choose whether you want the portfolio to list Only placed plants or your project's Entire palette.
3. Select any of these options to display the corresponding data assigned to each plant in the portfolio, including a Photo assigned to each plant using our Photo Callout tool.
4. Select a Page Size for your portfolio.
5. The plant portfolio will appear here, along with the description of each plant. If a plant doesn't currently have a description, click Add a Description to add one.
6. Click Save PDF to save your plant portfolio as a printable PDF document.
The fonts in the plant portfolio will match the Text Styles in the current Preference Set. Note that some fonts will not have an optimal appearance in the portfolio.
Plant Photos in the Portfolio
If you select the Photo option to include plant photos in the portfolio, photos you've added to the plant using our Photo Callout tool will be added to the portfolio. These photos may include official Land F/X photos and/or those that have been added to the plant using the online image search capaility built into the Photo Callout tool.
You can now upload your own plant photos to our database. More information
A Note on User-Provided Plant Photos
If you've uploaded your own plant photos to Land F/X, note that Plant Portfolio will only display the photos you've uploaded using the Land F/X Portal. The Portfolio is currently unable to display your locally uploaded images you've assigned to plants when editing them in CAD. Why? When you upload your own images in CAD, those images are saved on your computer rather than on the cloud. Because Plant Portfolio uses a Web dialog box, it cannot access files from your computer because of standard Web protocol security settings.
