You can use the Export to CAD tool to bring your bring your 3D Revit plant families into CAD, where you can plot your design or continue to draft.
Note that only trees and shrubs are available for export at this time.
Exporting Trees and Shrubs From a Revit Project
Open the Land F/X Export tool:
Planting F/X ribbon, Export button
The Land F/X Export dialog box will open, and you'll see a message that your trees and shrubs have been exported.
You can now import your trees and shrubs from the 3D Connection Cloud into a CAD drawing using our 3D Connection tool.
Nothing to export.
Are you seeing this message?
If so, it's because the Planting F/X plugin doesn’t recognize any of the families in the view as Planting F/X plants.
Importing Trees and Shrubs Into CAD
Open the CAD drawing associated with the project that includes the trees and shrubs you want to import from Revit, then use our 3D Connection tool to import your design into CAD.
The trees and shrubs from your project, along with the data reflecting where you've placed them, will be imported into CAD.
