Our Highlight Plant tool provides a quick way to locate all plants of a selected variety that have been placed in your plan in Revit. It's a great method for seeing your design at a glance, error checking, analyzing your design, or planning how to organize your labels.
Highlight Plant works similarly in Revit to how it does in CAD. More information on our Highlight Plant tool in CAD
Highlight Plant Overview
You can select the Highlight tool in two possible ways while in Revit.
Highlighting Plants from the Ribbon
Open our Highlight Plant tool:
Planting F/X ribbon, Highlight button
Click the plant in your plan that you want to highlight.
All plants of the selected species will be highlighted in red.
Highlighting Plants from the Plant Manager
You can also access the Highlight tool from the Plant Manager. First, open the Plant Manager:
Planting F/X ribbon, Plant Manager button
Select the plant you want to highlight, then click the Highlight button.
All plants of that species will highlight in red.
Using Highlight on Plant Labels
You can also use Highlight on a plant label and it will highlight all the plants that label is calling out.
