Are You Using Cloud Data or Local Data?
Issue
You need to find out whether your Land F/X installation is using Cloud Data or Local Data.
Solution
If you have an operational Land F/X workstation in your office, you can use the Enterprise command to find out quickly which data type your office is using.
Don't have access to an operational Land F/X workstation in your office? Here's what to do.
Open CAD on the computer running Land F/X. Type ENTERPRISE in the Command line, and press Enter.
In the dialog box that opens, check whether the Use Cloud Data option is selected. If this option is selected, you're using Cloud Data. If it is not selected, you're using Local Data.

Can't access a computer that is running Land F/X? You can find out whether your office is using Cloud or Local Data by:
- Asking your IT administrator, or
- Logging in to the Land F/X Portal (instructions below)

Here's how to find out whether you're on Cloud or Local Data using the Land F/X Portal.
1. Log in to the Land F/X Portal.
Note that you won't automatically have a Portal profile if you're a Land F/X user. If you haven't registered for the Portal, you'll need to do so before you can complete these steps.
2. After logging in to the Portal, select the Licenses tab in the left column.
3. Click Installations & Install Guide.
4. On the next screen, you'll see clouds in the background, as pictured to the left, if you're using Cloud Data. Cloud Data users will also see a geographical server location (example: US-West California: A1 as their Data Source.
If you don't see the cloud background, and if you see a letter drive location as your Data Source, you're on Local Data.
The image above shows an example of a Cloud Data user's Portal. Note that you might see several different installations in this location. Not sure which one to reference? As your IT administrator.
