Land F/X Publisher Privacy Policy Information for Autodesk App Store
This article covers the Land F/X privacy policy for our apps Design F/X, Planting F/X, Irrigation F/X, available through the Autodesk app store. The app store has requested that all application publishers provide the following information:
1. Identify and describe the data, if any, that the App collects, how that data is collected, and all uses of that data.
As a user clicks the different ribbon buttons in the Design F/X, Planting F/X, or Irrigation F/X app, we record each click and increment a counter for each button clicked. We identify this data by user account and employ it to gauge usage of each app. We also compile this data from all users, the sum of which we use to assess total usage of particular features in our apps.
Our primary purpose for retaining this data is to be aware of individuals' usage of our apps during the trial period. If we see that particular users have started a trial but have no actual usage, we can contact them to ensure they were able to install correctly and ask whether they need any assistance.
Users also create data by engaging certain features of the software, such as assembling the plants or irrigation equipment they use in a design. This data is stored in Land F/X projects, which are the entities that allow users to apply the data to objects in their designs.
2. Confirm that any third party with whom an App shares that data will provide the same protection of that data as stated in the App's privacy policy. Examples of such third parties are analytics tools, advertising networks and third-party SDKs, as well as legal affiliates of the Publisher (parent, subsidiary, related entities).
We do not share any data with outside parties.
3. Explain Publisher's data retention and deletion policies.
We retain the usage data described above indefinitely unless particular users request that we delete their data.
4. Describe how end users can revoke consent and/or request deletion of their data.
Users may delete any of the data they have created using the software by deleting Land F/X projects through the software, or through the Land F/X Portal. Users may also request via our technical support channel that we delete their usage data.
