Unable to Load the Land F/X Menus
You tried to follow our steps to load the Land F/X menus, but you're having trouble getting the menus to load. For example:
The ACAD menus are loading, but the LANDFX menus aren't, or ...
... the ACAD menus are not loading at all
Cause
AutoCAD can sometimes have trouble reading the menu files to load. Sometimes, an acad.cuix file from any third-party office software or office customization can prevent your menus from loading.
We've also seen this issue occur when users mistakenly type Menu instead of MenuLoad when attempting to load the menus.
Solution
Your solution will depend on which specific menus aren't loading.
• The ACAD menus are loading, but the LANDFX menus aren't.
Here's what to do if your ACAD menus are loading, but your LANDFX menus aren't, as pictured to the right:
1. Close CAD.
2. Navigate to the folder C:\Users\your username*\Appdata\Roaming\Autodesk\AutoCAD20xx**\Rxx.x**\enu\Support
* Your computer username
** These exact folder names will vary depending on your installation of CAD
You'll need to have hidden files and folders visible to navigate to this folder path.
3. Delete the file LandFX.cuix from that location.
You'll need to ensure that your file extensions are visible to be able to see the CUIX file and complete this step.
If you downloaded one of our plugins from the Autodesk app store, delete the cuix file named after your particular plugin (example: irrigationfx.cuix).
3. Restart CAD. A new CUIX file will be created automatically for your Land F/X installation, and your Land F/X menus should now load properly.
