"Do You Really Want to Do This?" in Command Line

Issue

You saw the following message in the Command line:

Do you really want to do this?

You might have seen this message after attempting to use our Nuke tool or delete linetypes.

Cause

An issue with hatch association in your base file is likely causing the error.

Solution

1. Type QSELECT in the Command line, and press Enter.

2. Select Hatch from the Object type menu.

 

 

 

 

3. Select Associative from the list of Properties.

 

 

 

 

4. Select Yes from the Value menu.

 

 

 

 

5. Click OK.

6. Open the Properties panel by typing Prop in the Command line and pressing Enter.

7. Click the pull-down menu next to Associative, and change it to No.

You should now be able to complete the action that previously caused the error message.
