The Security System (Softlock License Manager) is Not Functioning or is Improperly Installed (After Upgrading Your Operating System or Installing New Autodesk Software)
Issue
You ran an operating system upgrade or installed new Autodesk software, and you saw the following error message, which is preventing you from using F/X CAD or AutoCAD:
Solution
Most of the time, a clean uninstall and reinstall of CAD will resolve this issue.
First, follow our steps to uninstall AutoCAD or F/X CAD.
You can then reinstall AutoCAD or F/X CAD from scratch.
Still Getting the Error Message?
If uninstalling and reinstalling don't resolve the issue, you might need to uninstall again and delete the following files before the reinstallation:
- C:\ProgramData\FLEXnet\adskflex_00691b00_tsf.data
- C:\ProgramData\FLEXnet\adskflex_00691b00_tsf.data.backup
These files are Hidden Files. You will need to change your settings to view hidden files before deleting them.
