Unable to Resize CAD Dialog Boxes Without Holding Down CTRL Key

Issue

You are unable to resize AutoCAD dialog boxes such as the Properties panel or Layer Properties Manager unless you hold down the CTRL key.

Cause

This issue is the result of a setting of the LOCKUI (Lock User Interface) system variable. You most likely have LOCKUI set to something other than 0, such as 13.

Solution

Type LOCKUI in the Command line and press Enter.

When prompted to enter a value, type 0. Press Enter again. 

You should now be able to resize your dialog boxes.
