Multiple Windows Open when Hovering Mouse over Icons in Parallels
Issue
You’re using Land F/X on a Mac with Parallels, and when you hover your mouse over the icons in the task tray, several windows open. These windows might be anything from AutoCAD or F/X CAD to the File Explorer, your Internet browser, etc.
Cause
This issue is the result of the mouse settings in your Parallels settings.
Solution
1. Open your Windows start menu in Parallels. Click the Power button (pictured to the right), and select Shut down from the menu that opens.
You may need to run the Windows updates in order to shut Windows down.
2. Open Windows again. Open the Actions menu and select the Configure option.
3. Select the Hardware tab.
Select the Mouse & Keyboard option from the left pane.
Expand the Mouse menu, and select the Don't optimize for games option.
You should now be able to hover your mouse over icons, and otherwise use Parallels, without multiple windows opening.
