Attempting to Restore acad.cuix: ACAD Not an Option Under All Customization Files

Issue

You attempted to restore the file ACAD.CUIX, but you don't see ACAD as an option under All Customization Files in the Customize User Interface Manager.

Solution

1. Navigate to the following folder path:

C:\users\(your username)\AppData\Roaming\Autodesk\AutoCAD 20xx\Rxx.x\enu\support *

* (your username) will be your actual username on your computer.

* AutoCAD 20xx will be your year version of AutoCAD.

* The name of the folder Rxx.x will vary depending on your version of AutoCAD.

Rename the file acad.CUIX to acad-old.CUIX

Then rename the file acad.bak.cuix to acad.CUIX

Rename the bak file to the current file and the current to an older version

2. Complete our steps to Load the AutoCAD (ACAD) menus.

3. You should now be able to revert/restore the file acad.CUIX.
