Do You Have a 32-Bit or 64-Bit Version of Windows?
Issue
You need to find out whether you have a 32-but or 64-bit Windows operating system installed on your computer.
Our software is only offered as a 64-bit program. Due to the overwhelming number of users abandoning 32-bit operating systems altogether, along with the processor-intensive power of AutoCAD, we highly recommend using a computer with 64-bit operating system as a CAD workstation.
Solution
The method of determining whether you have a 32- or 64-bit operating system will vary depending on your version of Windows.
1. Right-click the Start menu.
2. Select System from the menu that opens.

3. In the System Properties screen, the System Type entry (pictured below) will display whether you have a 32- or 64-bit operating system.
