McAfee Antivirus and Installation of F/X CAD & Land F/X Plugins

Issue

You have McAfee Antivirus installed on your computer, and you're attempting to install F/X CAD or one of our plugins. The installation does not seem to be working.

Cause

Antivirus programs in general can sometimes interfere with our installers. We've found McAfee to be especially intrusive.

Solution

Disable McAfee (or any antivirus program that's interfering with your installation). Attempt to install again. The installation should go through without issue.
