Error 1326. Error Getting File Security (Installing the Land F/X Workstation Component)

Issue

You saw an error message similar to the following:

Error 1326. Error getting file security: P:\CORE-LANDFX\GetLastError:2

You'll see different text in the second line of the error message. The exact error message listed above and pictured to the right is just an example.

Cause

An issue with outdated registry keys on your computer is interfering with the installation process.

Solution

1. Download the zip file linked below.

2. Double-click the downloaded file, which will create a folder with the same name.

3. Open that folder, and double-click the file within it. The old registry keys causing the issue will be cleaned from your computer.
