Install Land F/X for AutoCAD: University Lab – Manual Steps
This guide provides instructions for college or university IT administrators to set up Land F/X software manually in an AutoCAD workstation lab environment. Once you complete these instructions, you will have a Single-User Land F/X installation on each CAD workstation in your lab.
In most cases, you should be able to install Land F/X in your university lab using our standard university lab installation steps. The manual steps on this page provide an alternative installation method in the event of domain or security restrictions on the workstations.
Step 1 (recommended): Send us a support ticket
Before you proceed with the manual installation steps, we recommend that you send a ticket to our Support team letting us know that you've run into issues installing Land F/X in your university lab. We may be able to provide a more straightforward solution to help get your lab up and running.
Step 2: Prerequisites
Once you've verified that you need to complete the manual installation steps, ensure that you have the following items:
Your lab-specific Land F/X Support ID*
* This will not be the same Support ID your students use for their home computers/laptops. You should have received this Support ID in an email from Land F/X. Don't see it? Email us at
