No Valve Number Shown in Critical Analysis
Issue:
The Critical Analysis is showing information for the Critical Station but it doesn't indicate which station is the Critical Station, despite your valves being called out.
Cause
You have caps connected to your system, but you didn't choose a cap symbol with an identifier attribute.
Solution
You can address this issue by selecting a symbol for the caps that uses an identifier attribute:
1. Edit the cap from the Irrigation Manager.
Click the symbol slide in the Edit dialog box, and select any of the cap symbols whose names include the suffix -ID.
2. If you haven't placed caps in your plan yet, place the new caps and enter their ID. However, if you've already placed caps, they will need to be updated to include the ID attribute that's included in the new symbol you selected in Step 1.
With the new ID symbol selected from the manager, you should see the new style update throughout the plan – just not with the attribute showing. Complete the following steps to populate the ID attribute field:
2A. Type ATTSYNC into the Command line, and press Enter.
2B. Right-click for the <Select> option.
2C. Select the cap, then right-click to Sync the selected block.
2D. Manually double-click each cap, and fill out the desired ID #.
The ID needs to be an actual number.
3. Run our Verify Mainline tool to ensure the irrigation system is still in working order. Then size the mainline again.
4. You'll now see the identifier you set to the cap called out as the Critical Station in the Critical Analysis.
