Changing Rotary Head Symbols

Issue

You want to change the symbols assigned to rotary heads you've already added to your project and placed in your drawing.

Solution

Rotary symbols are unique because they require several pieces of equipment to download at a time during symbol selection. As a result, changing rotary symbols requires a slightly more involved process than that of changing other equipment symbols. Here's how:

1. Take note of the specific rotary equipment and models whose symbols you need to change.

2. Open the Irrigation Manager and delete all nozzle options for the noted rotary equipment by selecting them and clicking Delete.

3. From your Irrigation Manager, add the removed equipment back to your project and select your desired symbol for each component.

4. For the rotary equipment you've added, place one head of each nozzle type. You may need to use a unique arc/spray radius to place the new symbols correctly.

5. After placing each head with your new desired symbol, use our Mimic Equipment tool to replace any heads of the same type that exist in your drawing.
