Symbol Blocks Placing With Transparency

Issue

Blocks are showing up with transparency when placed in your drawing. You may be experiencing this issue with:

• Plant or Concept Plant symbols
• Irrigation equipment
• Site amenities, including Amenity Reference Notes
• Schedule symbols
• Generic blocks such as Plan Graphics, Elevation Graphics, Detail Graphics, etc.
• Block-based callouts

Cause

The CETRANSPARENCY system variable is likely set to something other than -1.

Solution

Set the CETRANSPARENCY system variable to -1 by typing CETRANSPARENCY in the Command line, pressing Enter, and typing -1 when prompted to set a value.
