Rainbird – Trends in Spray Technology – Challenges & Solutions
February 15, 2013
Presented by: Randy Montgomery
Alternative water sources and emission device efficiency have been a focal point for legislative and regulatory actions to drive water conserving irrigation practices. From California’s Model Efficient Landscape Ordinance to even newer Green Codes, empirical evidence suggests that these standards have led to more efficient manufacturer solutions and, when used in conjunction with an integrated irrigation management approach, lead to reductions in water consumption.
The challenge for Landscape Architects and Irrigation Designers is that they need solutions to these legislative concerns. Even further, they need to know a system that they design today will still meet regulations for some time.
This webinar will introduce Rain Bird technology that meets current tough regulations and ensures the system will last. A system designed well today, that meets regulations, should last a long time, and only by selecting the right technology can you provide ease of mind with your customers. The products being highlighted will include the RD 1800 (including SAM, PRS, and Flow Shield features), as well as the High Efficiency Nozzles such as the HE-VANs and Rotary Nozzles, (including the new R-Van).
