GIS and Flood Risk Management
May 12, 2023
Presented by: Hannah Conover
Geographic Information Systems (GIS) technology has proven to be a useful tool in flood risk management. In part 2 of our GIS webinar series, Hannah Conover will discuss how GIS can aid in the creation of accurate flood risk maps. You’ll learn how these maps can help decision-makers identify areas at risk for flooding and prioritize mitigation efforts, as well as inform future planning and response efforts by allowing for tracking and analysis of flood events over time.
