Unable to Scroll in Dialog Box With Mouse Wheel
Issue
You're trying to scroll within a window or dialog box in AutoCAD, but the mouse scroll wheel isn't working.
For example, you may be trying to select a plant symbol in the Planting dialog box, you are unable to scroll down to see more symbols.
Make sure you're not just in a screen that doesn't allow scrolling. For example, some of our plant symbol categories (such as vines) don't include enough symbols to warrant scrolling down. If you have one of these categories active, the dialog box won't allow scrolling at all.
Cause
This issue occurs on computers that are running Windows 10. It's the result of that operating system's default setting for the mouse wheel.
Solution
1. Open your Start menu, and search for Settings in the search box.
Select the Settings option from the menu.
3. Select the Mouse & touchpad option in the left pane.
Toggle the Scroll inactive windows when I hover over them setting to Off.
You should now be able to scroll within dialog boxes with the mouse wheel.
