Xrefs Scaling Incorrectly When Inserted

Issue

You're attempting to bring in an image or DWG as an Xref, but the Xref isn't scaling correctly to your drawing.

Cause

A setting called Specify on-screen in the Attach Xref dialog box affects the scaling of the Xref you're attempting to attach. You may need to adjust this setting when attaching the Xref.

Solution

The correct setting for Specify on-screen will depend on two main factors:

• Whether the Xref you are attaching has an existing scale (and if so, what that scale is)
• The scale of the main drawing
