Batch Plotting or Publishing: Drawing Sheets are Plotting to Different Files

Issue

When you attempt to batch plot or publish, the sheets in your drawing are not all plotting to the same file (but you would like them to).

Cause

Whether you are trying to batch plot or publish, you likely have an incorrect setting in the CAD Publish dialog box.

Solution

Open the Publish dialog box:

Output ribbon, Batch Plot button

 

 

 

 

 

 

type Publish in the Command line

File menu, Publish option

In the Publish dialog box, select the PDF option from the Publish to: menu.

When you batch plot or publish again, your sheets should now all plot to the same PDF file.
