FLEXnet License Manager: Unable to Reach the License Manager (Installing F/X CAD)

Issue

While you were attempting to install F/X CAD, the FLEXnet License Manager popped up displaying a message that it was unable to reach the license manager.

Cause

This issue is probably occurring because you selected the Network option under License Type while installing F/X CAD.

Solution

1. Follow our steps to uninstall F/X CAD.

2. Reinstall F/X CAD. When you get to the Product Information screen, take care to select the Standalone option under License Type.
