Error 1306. Another Application Has Exclusive Access to the File (Installing the Land F/X Workstation Component)

Issue

You saw the following error when running the Land F/X Workstation installer:

Error 1306. Another application has exclusive access to the file (filename)

Cause

This error is the result of a CAD user in your network having the Land F/X Welcome.dwg file open.

Solution

1. Ask around your office and have the CAD users close the Welcome.dwg file.

2. Run the Workstation installer (setup_FXWorkstation) file again. The installer should run normally without generating the error.
