Error: Pipe Segment Has Missing Connected Entities (Move Piped Equipment)

Issue

You saw the following error message when using our Move Piped Equipment tool:

Error: Pipe segment has missing connected entities.

Deleting pipe segment and aborting.

Error: Pipe segment has missing connected entities. Deleting pipe segment and aborting.

Cause

This error occurs when you are missing a pipe fitting on an end of a pipe segment, and you try to use our Move Piped Equipment tool on the other end.

Solution

To correct the error, you'll need to redraw the segment or section of pipe connected to the equipment you tried to move.

1. Use our Highlight Station tool to locate the missing pipe.

The pipe that is connected correctly to the station will be highlighted in yellow. So you'll be looking for a section where a pipe should be, but where no pipe is highlighted in yellow.

2. Redraw the missing pipe.

3. After drawing the pipe, check to ensure that all necessary fittings are present. You should then be able to move your piped equipment without issue.
