Schematic Irrigation List is Missing or Blank
Quick video
Issue
You tried to create a schematic plan using our Schematic Irrigation tool, but when you tried to select Schematic types from the Irrigation Preferences, the list was missing or blank.

Did you open the Schematic Irrigation tool and wonder why the list is blank in the dialog box?.
Don't worry – that's by design. We updated Schematic Irrigation and placed it in a docked palette that it shares with our Circuiting tool. Schematic types are now added on a project-by-project basis, although you can still choose to add types from your Preference Sets. See our Schematic Irrigation documentation for more information.

Cause

You're using the Default Preference Set, which is blank and therefore does not include any Schematic types.
Solution
You can resolve this issue in three possible ways:
Solution #1: Create your own custom Schematic Irrigation list by following our steps to create new Schematic types.
Want to re-create our default Schematic types but don't want to use our default Imperial Preference Set (Solution #3)? Use the link below to download a list of settings for our default Schematic types, for your reference.
Solution #2: Assign a different Preference Set to your project.
Solution #3: Restore our default Preference Sets. Our default Schematic types will also be restored.
Our default Preference Sets – that is, the Preference Sets that are included with an installation of our software – are separate entities from the Default Preference Set.
