Plant Copies With Same Codes Missing When Importing into SketchUp, Rhino, or Revit®
Issue
You exported your planting plan design through the 3D Connection tool, but when you tried to import your plants into a 3D SketchUp, Rhino, or Revit design, plants that were copies with the same code are missing.
Cause
This issue is isolated to Local Data. Our 3D Connection plugins for SketchUp, Rhino, and Revit operate solely on Cloud Data. When your CAD Land F/X plugin is using Local Data, the 3D Connection needs to copy the data between the local and cloud versions of the project (effectively 2 separate non-dynamic versions of the same project). Plant copies with the same code don't translate back and forth between these platforms.
Solution
Use Cloud Data. with our Cloud Data option, your entire project data never needs to be copied every time you export to 3D, as both platforms are using the cloud database. It only needs to transfer the location information.
