Power Tip: Spline Support

Here is a Land F/X Power Tip, suggested by a user through a support ticket.  Land F/X now offers Spline Support when converting a 2D drawing into a SketchUp model. Using the Land F/X 3D connection, create closed faces out of Splines with the click of a button. Let me show you how! 

1 Create a layer for your linework to go on.

2 Create your spline or apply current spline to the layer you have created.

3 Use the SketchUp Connection tool to send a specific layer over to SketchUp

4 Open SketchUp and assign the correct project folder.

5 Using the Import Layer function, select the desired layer and Land F/X will automatically import your layers and create closed faces for manipulation.
