Development Open House
December 3, 2021
Presented by: Jeremiah Farmer
Take a peek behind the curtain into the inner workings of Land F/X, presented by our CEO and head developer, Jeremiah Farmer. We'll open by showcasing the journey of a wishlist request as it becomes a live feature, including an example of the source code that brings our users' ideas magically to life. After sharing a few projects we have in store for next year and a sneak peek at some unreleased features, we'll open the floor to attendee requests, giving you a chance to air your must-have Land F/X features.

Discussion about the orange "Infection detected" dialog box and why it's necessary (41:00)
Question: Any chance that assigning emitter by plant rather than container is in development? (44:24)
Answer: We've been looking at implementing this option, although it will cause the plant list to be excessively long. Also note that we originally designed emitters to be assigned by container to ensure the plan is clear for the contractor.
It's always a good idea to post your feature requests on our community forum. If other users chime in and say it's a good idea, we may be more likely to make it a priority. (50:07)
