I previously selected the 'no leader' leader type for a paving reference note. I later changed it to an arrow leader, however, when I place a new callout it still places the callout with no leader.

Paul helped me solve this one. The problem was the amenity/paving area hatch being called out was in the base (xref) file and the callout itself was in another file. I made the change to the ref note settings while in the callout file, not the base file. In order for it to register the change, you must make the change to the ref note settings while having the base file where the item is live open. You then must place a callout in that file to register the change in the Land F/X data file. Once you do this, you can place callouts in the callout file.

Michael,

I tried the steps you outlined on my end and didn't get the same result.

Here's what I did in a blank drawing (created from the acad.dwt template).

1. New project, set scale.

2. Add area refnote, set to "no leader" option.

3. Place refnote area hatch. Call out.

4. Edit refnote, change to arrow leader. Hit OK.

5. Callout hatch again. It prompts for arrow and places correctly.

Try these steps. Maybe the arrow option just didn't get saved when you edited the refnote?

If it's still not working, send in the drawing with Land F/X .lfx preference set and project files and I can help troubleshoot further.

How to Submit a Technical Support Ticket

Thanks,

Amanda,

I was not able to resolve the issue. I've submitted a support ticket and attached the files.
