Good morning all..

Jeremiah, I would like to ask if it is possible to provide a "Concept Irrigation Manager" same like in the planting.
In one of my projects I needed to do concept design for the irrigation and on further stage I needed to develop the design to detailed one, but didn't want to lose the concept design..

Is this applicable?

Thanks In Advance,

Nibal,
It sounds like you should be using our Schematic tools. Take a look at the links below for more on this function. If you have further questions please let us know and we can go from there.

Power Tip: Schematic Irrigation
Schematic Irrigation
Thank you Jake,

I know the schematic irrigation and I use it sometimes, but I need for example to include the other equipments like bubblers, rws, the auxiliary equipment,
I don't see the schematic is capable for this yet.

Hope I could explain it well..

Nibal,
I guess I am a little confused then about what you are trying to do. Do you possibly have an example (pre Land F/X) of what you are trying to achieve? You have full control over creating any type of schematic you would like, just create an item on the fly instead of picking it from the list (shown in the Power Tip I linked before).

As far as Auxiliary Equipment, I am a little lost as to why you wouldn't just add and place that type of equipment, even if it was just using the Generic or Other category to create your own.

But again, if you could let me know better what you are after, maybe we can point you in a new direction.
Jake,

Thank you for the information.

You brought to my attention that I can use Generic option for the bubbler, RWS, and auxiliary equipments, and the schematic for the drip and sprinklers areas.

This would be helpful in some of the projects where I need to start with the concept design in which I only need to present general irrigation design with no details of the equipments, using the schematic and the generic tool.
then I'll do the detailed design using the regular irrigation window,

and this way I wont lose what I did in the concept because they are now seperated.

What I did before that I used the regular irrigation window to do the concept design, and when I developed it to the DD I needed to develop the details of the equipments and descriptions, and this way I lost the concept ones.

But I need to ask can I create a schematic area for trees bubblers for example?

Hope this explanation helps you understand better what I was intending to do.

Nibal,
As discussed before, you are welcome to add any schematic type you would like. Just keep in mind the system will calculate estimated flows based on the precip rate you give, and the area this item is placed. I have done this before by referencing what a regular emitter would be, based on a fixed radius. Once I dialed in the precip rate so it matched the flow of the regular emitter, I was able to place that Schematic type around the plan as a colored representation of that type of equipment.

I hope this helps.

Regards,
