I mentioned int he past that in Phoenix, we separate tree and shrub drip irrigation. For clarity on our plans, the linetypes for each type (tree/shrub) are different. Pipe class works great for this... we use the same pipe type for each class, but they end up on separate layers / linetypes. However, with turf, annual beds, etc, those linetypes will match either the tree or shrubs stations. Would it be possible to expand the types used in a drawing to four?

As an alternative that might not be as easy to implement, but would be more flexible, some method of changing the linetype by station. Something automatic, not just use highlight station / select / change properties.

Thanks!
Tim

We have this on the wishlist, to expand the pipe classes, probably as high as 9.

It's pretty high on the list of irrigation items, hoping to get it done in November ahead of the IA show.

Awesome to see this as well, you can never have enough pipe types for clarity.
Has this update been implemented?

Thanks!

It would be visible in the Pipe Data screen if it had.
But still on track to be implemented.

I think that this will be nice. How far away is a linetype for irrigation control wire so it shows up on the legend with quantity. Sometimes we have a looped mainline, but not loop the wire. Our current workaround is to show it on a separate layer and creating a reference note. Unfortunately, it isn't in the irrigation legend, its showing up in a separate legend.

It has definitely been talked about. Nothing set in stone with when it will be implemented though. Your current process, while not ideal, is the best route for now.
BTW, I just painted my house: Toasted Wheat - Beige on Stucco and Siding, Dark Truffle - Brown - Eaves and Fascia and guess what? Yes: Deserted Island - Green - Doors .
Still, when will be able to have the controller communication/control wires in our legend? Should I create a separate wish item so it can make it onto a list?
Yes, it should be a separate item.
And in the meantime, the best workaround is to place a RefNote schedule without a Title beneath the Irrigation Schedule.
