We have a problem with Irrigation schedule. It keeps counting all of the decoders and line surge protesctions because they were all numbered . Now we have 1mile long Shedule with each decoder and LSP qty 1. Is it possible to to count all of same type decoders and LSP together, not by their name (number). Also, is it possible, during the design process, to add them without numbering that obviously causes this unwanted quantifying?

The standard is typically to use a character code for those items, such as "S" for the surge protection and "D" for the decoder. However the system does support entering a number for the identifier, and if you do, it will automatically sequentially number others.
However, you do raise a great point. Even though the numbering is operating as designed, I can't recall ever testing it, and completely agree with you, that is way too much for the schedule.
I have updated it, so that equipment with a numeric attribute, show up in the schedule in a single line, with an "XX" in the schedule symbol. This will be part of the update posting this Friday.
