Newbie question: I have a drawing with a PDF that's Xref'd in.

Just got a revised PDF from a colleague with more information, so I'm trying to X'ref that in, too.

I have both PDFs in my drawing, but they are "blank" until I click on them. I can't use the ALIGN command to match them up.

Hi David,

It's possible that both PDF's are large files and having both showing is not meshing well with your graphics.

Some with the same issue on AutoCAD forums have had success with rebooting their computer: PDF Underlay can not be seen unless selected.

You can also try turning off hardware accelleration. Disable Hardware Acceleration.

If the PDF is vector based, it might also be easier for you to do a PDFIMPORT instead, to bring everything in as lines or make your own .dwg base xref file out of it. PDF Import

Thanks, Amanda. I rebooted and that worked.
