Is it possible to have the planting legend look something like this when we need to show optional plant material in a CD package?

Your best solution would be to place those as Concept trees, and then check the option in the plant schedule to Include concept plants.

But will the legend match the other sheets in the CD set that have the standard CD legend and can we have the information shown in the legend i.e., WUCOLS, remarks, details, etc?

Yes. It’s still the same plant schedule, it is just also including the member plants of any concept plants.
