Help! One of my old details is stalking me! This is a detail for a project that we completed about four years ago. From time to time, while working on current projects, I will notice that old detail in the Detail Manager in the "unplaced details" section. I haven't yet detected a particular pattern yet as far as what I've been doing when it appears. I'm assuming that one of our standard details references this detail in some way and that when I place the standard detail in the current project, this detail gets pulled in. Can you suggest a simple, logical approach that I can use to troubleshoot this myself? I'm certain it is something simple, but I'm not sure exactly where to start. Thanks!

Thanks for that suggestion, Amanda! I had not considered that it could be tied to a reference note, but that very well could be the case.
Roband,

It could also be a reference note that you're importing into the project that is linked to a particular detail.

Thanks, Jeremiah. I'll do as suggested for now and uncheck the "Add referenced details in callouts." If I ever have time, I'll investigate further just for the sake of knowing. Sometimes you've just gotta know, you know? The thing is, is there are no obvious callouts in the suspect details. I'm thinking there is some sort of marker (or detail reference) that I'm just not seeing. Anyway, I'm glad there's an easy workaround. If I ever find out the definitive culprit, I'll follow up here.
One thing you can do, is to uncheck the option "Add referenced details in callouts".
That is undoubtedly the issue -- once you place a detail that has a callout, and if that option is selected, the system will add said detail to your project.
